we'll always have paris
it was one of those days when it's a minute away from snowing and there's this electricity in the air, you can almost hear it. and this bag was, like, dancing with me. like a little kid begging me to play with it. for fifteen minutes. and that's the day i knew there was this entire life behind things, and... this incredibly benevolent force, that wanted me to know there was no reason to be afraid, ever. video's a poor excuse. but it helps me remember... and i need to remember...
sometimes there's so much beauty in the world i feel like i can't take it, like my heart's going to cave in.
zitate aus demselben film von kevin spacey:
remember those posters that said, «today is the first day of the rest of your life»? well, that's true of every day but one --- the day you die.
look at me, j*rking off in the shower...this will be the high point of my day, it's all down hill from here.
it's a great thing when you realize you still have the ability to surprise yourself.
in as good as it gets gefällt mir besonders, wie jack nicholson während der autofahrt das leben der autoinsassen mit dem leben anderer menschen vergleicht:
some have great stories, pretty stories that take place at lakes with boats and friends and noodle salad. just no one in this car. but, a lot of people, that's their story. good times, noodle salad. what makes it so hard is not that you had it bad, but that you're that pissed that so many others had it good.
